From 2015 to now the median sales price for Lower East Side and Cobble Hill has doubled. In fact, the majority of the submarkets increased pretty well over the past 4 years seeing New Yorker's are ok with being more transient in exchange for better deals (nicer/new apartments for lower and even comparable prices with attractive monthlies). For Cobble Hill, the median sale price climbed to $2.5 million from $1.3 million making it the most expensive neighborhood against Dumbo, Carroll Gardens, and Red Hook.
