Museums are officially opened in New York City which is well-needed positive news for New Yorkers. Strict guidelines are in place from capacity limits to required masks and temperature checks with viewing times generally scheduled online. The New York Post has an updated list of which museums are open and their policies. Definitely plan ahead!
Gyms and bowling alleys are also allowed to reopen with safety precautions, and movie theaters are expected to return next. Regardless of the amount of success NYC has had controlling CODID-19 and how the rest of the state has allowed indoor dining to proceed at half capacity for the last two months, New York City restauranteurs must wait. A return to indoor dining is contingent on how the city’s schools perform when they reopen on September 10.
